Andrea Atticks

Andrea H. Atticks received her B.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from Loyola College in Maryland in 1998. She went on to receive her M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology with a specialization in Adult Neurology from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2000. She worked at the University of Maryland Medical Center and Shock Trauma Center from 2001 until 2006, where she received the "Clinician of the Year" award in 2005. Andrea has also worked with adult neurogenic and dysphagic clients in sub-acute and outpatient settings. Her areas of interest include dysphagia, aphasia, and traumatic brain injury. Andrea is currently supervising graduate students at the Margaret A. McManus Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic at Belvedere Square.
