|  Sally Gallena received her Bachelor of Science Degree in speech-language pathology from Towson State University. She received her Master of Science Degree in speech-language pathology from Loyola College in Maryland. During her career, she has gained clinical experience in school, hospital, outpatient clinic and private practice settings. She gained research experience at the National Institutes of Health, Voice and Speech section, where her research study on Parkinson’s Disease was published in the Journal of Speech and Hearing Research. Mrs. Gallena specializes in disorders of the larynx and voice, with special clinical and research interests in the treatment of vocal cord dysfunction in athletes as well as treatment of habit cough. She recently authored a text entitled Voice & Laryngeal Disorders: A Problem Based Clinical Guide. She currently teaches voice disorders, directs the clinical externship program, and supervises clinical interns at the graduate level at Loyola College in Maryland. Return to Department Faculty | |
