8890 McGaw Road The Columbia Graduate Center is located in the heart of Columbia, near several major shopping districts, numerous restaurants, local parks, and entertainment venues. Columbia is midway between Baltimore, Md. and Washington, D.C. The speech-language pathology masters program holds its classes on Mondays at the Columbia Graduate Center. The Graduate Center has a bookstore, student lounge, student computer lab, and ample, free parking for all graduate students.
Columbia Clinical Center Loyola's Speech and Language Center at the Columbia Graduate Center is a state-of-the-art clinical training facility, which provides diagnostic and treatment services to clients ranging in age from 10 months to adulthood. The center includes eight treatment/observation suites and provides training to first-year graduate students in the assessment and treatment of articulation disorders; oral motor disorders; fluency; language delay; language-based learning disabilities; pragmatic language disorders; and resonance and voice disorders. The clinic also houses the Center for Excellence for Individuals with Down Syndrome and provides students with experiences in early language intervention and parent training.
The Margaret A. McManus Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic, commonly referred to as the Baltimore Clinic, is located in Belvedere Square at the corner of York Rd. and Belvedere Ave. The pediatric clinic provides diagnostic and treatment services to clients ranging in age from 10 months to teen years. Clients include individuals with autism spectrum disorders, oral motor and feeding difficulties, articulation delays, fluency disorders, developmental apraxia, and language and learning disabilities.
