    Study Abroad

Students majoring in Speech-Language Pathology/Audiology are easily able to study abroad during their junior year.  Most study abroad programs are one semester in length and do not offer Speech-Language Pathology/Audiology courses.  Therefore, the student needs to plan ahead to take major courses in advance of going abroad.  Loyola’s study abroad program in New Castle, England, however, is a year-long program offering courses in Speech-Language Pathology.  If interested in this program, the student should also plan ahead to allow courses to be taken abroad.  Students interested in majoring in Speech-Language Pathology/Audiology, who are also interested in studying abroad, should contact Dr. Janet Preis (410-617-2578, jpreis1@loyola.edu) as early as possible in their program.  Students should also visit the International Programs site for general information about studying abroad.
