    Study Abroad

Students majoring in Speech-Language Pathology/Audiology are easily able to study abroad during their junior year.  Most study abroad programs are one semester in length and do not offer Speech-Language Pathology/Audiology courses.  Therefore, the student needs to plan ahead to take major courses in advance of going abroad.  Loyola’s study abroad program in New Castle, England, however, is a year-long program offering courses in Speech-Language Pathology.  If interested in this program, the student should also plan ahead to allow courses to be taken abroad.  Students interested in majoring in Speech-Language Pathology/Audiology, who are also interested in studying abroad, should plan as early as possible and work with their major advisor so that courses can be planned accordingly.  Students needing further assistance should contact Dr. Lisa Schoenbrodt, Undergraduate director at lschoenbrodt@loyola.edu.  Students should also visit the International Programs site for general information about studying abroad.
