    Corporate and Foundation Giving

As a nationally recognized university, Loyola College receives substantial financial support from corporations and foundations across the region and country.  These gifts -- whether matching alumni employee contributions or funding vital projects such as scholarships, buildings or faculty-initiated programs -- provide a key measure of Loyola's success in offering the best possible education and its growing reputation among the leading Jesuit universities in the nation.

Faculty also receive an impressive level of support for their research and service projects by seeking grants from private and federal funding sources.  To date, the current active grant portfolio is more than $10 million.  Click here to view the list of current grants.

    Corporate Receptions

One of Loyola's greatest strengths is its vast network of undergraduate and graduate alumni who hold leadership positions in the regional business community. To strengthen and expand that network, Loyola annually plans several receptions at selected area corporations, bringing together Loyola-affiliated employees working at a selected company.  Attendees have the opportunity to network with each other and hear updates on Loyola and its premier Sellinger School of Business and Management from top Loyola administrators.

In the past two years, Loyola held corporate receptions for Allfirst, Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown, Verizon, Constellation Energy Corporation, Legg Mason, MBNA America N.A., and T. Rowe Price Group. Plans are underway for an exciting slate of corporate receptions for Fall 2005.

    The Corporate Campaign

The goal of the Corporate Campaign is to raise $14 million for the new Joseph A. Sellinger, S.J. School of Business and Management Building. This remarkable, high-tech academic facility opened in January 2000, and has quickly become a favorite of students and faculty.

To date, the Sellinger School Building Campaign Committee has raised nearly $13 million toward its goal, including leadership gifts from corporations, Trustees, alumni and friends of the late Reverend Joseph A. Sellinger, S.J.  MBNA America Bank, N.A. committed $5 million, the largest gift in Loyola's history, to launch the corporate campaign. Other corporations are joining this landmark effort as a testament to the intellectual capital that the College and its premier business programs provide for the region.
