St. Mary's/Loyola Partnership

St. Mary's/Loyola Partnership

The partnership between St. Mary of the Assumption School and Loyola College in Maryland was established in September 2006. It offers students, faculty and staff from both institutions an opportunity to learn from each other through academic enrichment activities, tutoring sessions, field trips, fine arts and science programs, and more.

Inspired by Loyola's Year of the City initiative and designed to help the College reaffirm its ties to its home city of Baltimore, this partnership encourages members of the Loyola Community to nurture its relationships and stand in solidarity with its neighbors.

St. Mary’s, which opened in 1874, is an archdiocesan Catholic school that serves close to 170 children in Pre-K 3 through 8th grade. It is affiliated with St. Mary of the Assumption parish, a Roman Catholic Church in North Baltimore's Govans neighborhood.
