Parents Council The Loyola University Maryland Parents Council is a leadership group of parents that allows parents the opportunity to participate in a meaningful way in the educational experience of their children. Member parents serve as advocates for Loyola by actively engaging fellow parents in the life of the University. Member couples serve as co-hosts for parent events held in their area. They attend the event themselves and also assist Loyola staff by promoting the event through phone calls to other area parents. Parents Council members also encourage others to support Loyola’s annual Parents Annual Fund, and are asked to personally endorse the Fund by making a leadership gift at The John Early Society level. These generous couples set the pace for parent giving and inspire others to support Loyola. Members of the Parents Council and their children are invited each year to a special event scheduled during Family Weekend. A breakfast will be held Sunday, September 27 on the Evergreen Campus. If you would like more information about the Parents Council, please contact Nancy Murray Panepento, Assistant Director of Parent Relations at 410-617-2866 or nmpanepento@loyola.edu. 2009-10 PARENTS COUNCIL LEADERSHIP National Chaircouple Jerry and Regina DeFrancisco National Vice-Chaircouple Ken '76 and Kathleen Boehl Baltimore Chaircouple Bob '82 and Barbara '82 Cawley
