Senior Class Gift

The past four years at Loyola have made a

tremendous impact on your life...

It is time to say thank you and leave your mark!

What is the Senior Class Gift Campaign?
As members of the graduating class prepare to transition from students to alumni, they are challenged to leave a symbol of their class unity and support the future of Loyola University Maryland.

The Senior Class Gift Campaign is an opportunity for members of the class to display their appreciation for their Loyola educational experience and to create a communication network for the future.

For more information, contact a member of the Senior Class Gift Committee.

What is the the Class of 2010 Senior Class Gift?

Inspired by the Jesuit Catholic mission of Loyola University Maryland that calls for the dynamic integration of academic excellence and social responsibility, the Class of 2010 wishes to establish a scholarship to provide support for a student whose family has experienced a severe financial crisis.  Each year, several students’ families experience the death of a parent wage earner, face unusual medical expenses that are not covered by health insurance, or have a parent who suffers a loss of employment.  These types of financial crises affect the students’ continued enrollment and completion of their degree.  The Class of 2010 Scholarship will supplement need-based assistance available to students through other federal and institutional sources to address these students’ unusual financial circumstances.

Why should you support the Senior Class Gift?

  • Unity and Communication:
The Senior Class Gift Campaign is a perfect opportunity for members of the class to connect before graduation and to create communication channels for life after Loyola.
  • Tradition and Pride:
By giving a gift to Loyola, you are joining the thousands of alumni before you, who say "thank you" to the University through their annual gifts.
  • Philanthropic Support:
Think of all that you have gained from your Loyola experience - all the friends, lessons, experiences and memories.  The Senior Class Gift is your chance to give back!
  • Message of Appreciation:
The Senior Class Gift is the perfect way to show the Loyola Community that you value your degree from the University.

What is the 2010 Senior Gift Campaign's Goal?
The Class of 2010 has set a goal to achieve 40 percent participation among seniors and seeks to raise $12,000 in gifts.

Why does my pledge or gift matter?
Every gift makes a difference.

  1. Many publications (such as U.S. News & World Report) rank Loyola and use the percentage of alumni who donate annually to determine overall alumni satisfaction.
  2. Foundations and corporations, in turn, look at alumni giving participation rates as they determine funding for non-profit institutions such as Loyola.
  3. Your gift helps contribute to the overall value of your Loyola University Maryland degree.
  4. Your gift, no matter the size,

How do I give?
It's easy!  You can give using your credit/debit card or your Evergreen card.

*Can't afford to pay it all at once? No problem! You can set up a recurring payment using your credit/debit card.

How do I stay connected to Loyola after I graduate?
Participating in programs sponsored by the Alumni Association in Baltimore and throughout the country will allow you to remain close to your alma mater and friends and hear exciting news about the University.

  • Events
The Senior Class Barbeque, the Bull and Oyster Roast, and Reunions are just some of the events in store for the Class of 2010!
  • Committees
