Scholarship Endowment

To celebrate increased diversity at Loyola College, the Class of 2007 will create the Class of 2007 Scholarship Endowment. The need-based scholarship will be awarded as determined by the Office of Financial Aid. An endowment grows over time, allowing the members of the Class of 2007 to continue to support the scholarship and provide opportunities for students in financial need to attend Loyola.  In addition, the Class will promote cultural and global awareness via a time zone and clock display in the Student Center.

The Class of 2005 supported the installation of the a Marian Shrine and a painting of the Madonna and Child in the Alumni Memorial Chapel in memory of late College President Harold Ridley, S.J.  Fr. Ridley had admired the painting of the Madonna and Child by a contemporary South American artist when he saw it in the Bendann Art Galleries in Towson. He had intended to acquire the artwork for the College, and it has since been donated to the College by the gallery owner, Lance Bendann.
