Message from Rev. Brian Linnane, S.J.,
President of Loyola CollegeRev. Brian Linnane, S.J.

As President of Loyola College, I have been consistently moved and inspired by the extraordinary achievements of our talented and dedicated students, faculty and staff.  These accomplishments, which prompt the College to create and pursue even greater goals, rely in large measure on the support of many alumni, parents and friends who share our mission and commitment to academic excellence.

Through their involvement in Loyola events and their generous contributions to the College’s annual Evergreen Fund and historic Preparing Tomorrow capital campaign—which has exceeded its $80 million goal and recently surpassed $90 million as it continues its wrap-up phase—these individuals play an integral role in Loyola’s efforts to continually improve and expand the facilities, curricula and other programs essential to success of an academic institution of the highest caliber.

This support is even more crucial now, as we begin shaping a new strategic plan to prepare for the College’s future development and advancement.  This process will outline the academic enhancements, technology upgrades and other resource improvements needed to help Loyola continue to prepare our students to make positive contributions in their personal and professional lives.

Loyola owes its rich history of achievement and outstanding reputation to many talented, dedicated and remarkably generous people.  I am confident that the philanthropic commitment of our loyal donors will provide the resources needed to enhance our academic reputation, our capacity to serve our community and our ability to meet the objectives established by our ongoing strategic planning process.

I would also like to extend my personal gratitude for your generosity and continued support of Loyola College.
