Our current network consists of leading 802.11n technologies, as well as support for 802.11 a, b, and g.
Guarding Your Safety
Every student has access to a free copy of Symantec Antivirus. Additionally, a network monitoring system proactively scans the network protecting against threats, 24-7.
Computer Labs and Printing
Loyola offers a multitude of computer labs for quiet study and team collaboration. Each residence hall has access to a conveniently located computer lab with printing capabilities. Students are not required and not encouraged to purchase their own printers.
Purchasing Technology Using Discount Programs
Loyola does not require that students purchase their own computers, however, it is a common trend that most students do own a personal computer. There are several discount programs through Lenovo and Apple offered to Loyola students for purchase. Both platforms work equally well on campus on our network and with our software.
