An Opportunity You Can Afford
Besides being premier, private and Jesuit, a Loyola University Maryland education is one more thing—affordable. A rather uncommon quality among the best private colleges and universities, and one that we are certain you will come to appreciate as you compare what Loyola has to offer with other schools. In fact, the value represented by a Loyola education has recently been recognized by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine. It named Loyola among its 2009 list of Best Values in Private Universities. Loyola was also ranked in the top 10 in the North region for U.S. News’s “Great Schools, Great Prices.” Our comprehensive financial aid offerings are one more reason a Loyola University Maryland education is well within your reach.

Private, Yes. Prohibitive, No.
Loyola maintains a strong commitment to helping make our Jesuit, private education attainable for qualified students and their families. We sponsor a comprehensive program of institutionally funded academic scholarships, need–based grants and athletic grants, in addition to our participation in the major federal and state student aid programs. In other words, Loyola works to ensure that an exceptional, Jesuit, liberal arts education is available to the most talented, motivated students entering college today.
