Peter Cameron

Peter Cameron is  the author of several short story collections and novels including One Way or Another (1986), awarded a Special Citation by the PEN/Hemingway Award for First Book of Fiction; Leap Year (1989); Far-flung (1991); The Weekend (1994) which was adapted into a film written and directed by Brian Skeet starring Gena Rowlands and Brooke Shields; Andorra (1997); The City of Your Final Destination (2002); and, most recently, Someday This Pain Will Be Useful to You (2007), a finalist for the 2008 Lambda Literary Award. A fellow at the MacDowell Colony, he has taught at Oberlin College, Columbia University’s Graduate School of the Arts, Sarah Lawrence College, and Yale University. He lives in New York City.
