How to Prepare for a Consultation
To make the most of your session, please try to:
1. Bring or upload the most current version of your draft, even if it is incomplete.
2. Be ready to explain the assignment, project goals, or concerns you would like to
discuss.
3. Arrive with enough time to actively participate in the conversation and revision
process.
The Writing Center works best as a collaborative space for discussion, experimentation,
and revision at any stage of the writing process.
Write here. Write now.
Bring your ideas, your papers, yourself. Writing isn’t just an assignment—it’s how you shape your world.
Our Mission: Perfect Eloquence
Rooted in the Jesuit tradition, the Loyola Writing Center (LWC) embraces the concept of eloquentia perfecta—communication that not only achieves clarity and precision but also inspires action and personal growth. Writing is a collaborative and transformative process, and we are here to help you express your ideas powerfully and meaningfully.
