Recent Reads – The Last Book I Read, Loved, & Recommend: The History of Love by Nicole Krauss
A Quote – From Another Recent Read: “Time – when pursued like a bandit – will behave like one; always remaining one country or one room ahead of you, changing its name and hair color to elude you, slipping out the back door of the motel just as you’re banging through the lobby with your newest search warrant, leaving only a burning cigarette in the ashtray to taunt you.  At some point you have to stop because it won’t.  You have to admit that you can’t catch it.  That you’re not supposed to catch it.  At some point, you gotta let go and sit still and allow contentment to come to you.”  - Elizabeth Gilbert

Hobbies/Activities/Interests:  traveling, cooking, photography, film, music, studying Italian, creative writing

What inspired me to take WR323 and work at the Center?  After finishing my first college writing course and absolutely loving it, I knew that working at the LWC would help me to stay connected to writing while I studied other subjects.  I thought I might enjoy tutoring and meeting new people while working on my own writing skills.  Entering my second year here, I can say with certainty that my expectations have been fulfilled.

What future plans do I have?  Because I have many interests, I'm still not sure as to what exactly it is I would like to do after graduation.  I can definitely see myself working for a PR firm or working in the PR department for a company or organization in NYC, though I would also like to look into teaching or writing for a magazine.  My immediate future plans include studying abroad in Florence next semester.
