Writing Center work, for me, is something that I’m always excited about. Sometimes there’s anxiety—I don’t think our tutees know how nerve-wracking sessions can be for us!—but the majority of the time, I’m just glad to work with another writer. Being any part of another’s writing process, whether I’m someone to bounce ideas off of or just an honest reader for a history paper, is something I take pride in. What is your favorite thing about the LWC? I guess I’d have to say the atmosphere is my favorite thing about the LWC. Friendly people, comfy seats, tasty snacks, and a huge aquarium to stare at when you just can’t look at your paper anymore! |
