The Writing Center is located at the Columbia Campus in Room 267 Graduates are also welcome to visit the Evergreen (Baltimore) Campus (Jenkins Hall 011) for consultations if this location is more convenient. In addition to one-on-one consulting, during the 2009-2010 academic year, the Loyola Writing Center will offer:
Academic Writing in APA Style: a series of workshops facilitated by Writing Center Graduate Consultants that focus on the purposes of academic writing, academic voice, and elements of APA citation style and formatting. APA workshops resume in Fall 2009 Online Consulting: Can’t make it to the writing center during our regular hours? Then online consulting might be right for you. Please email lwc@loyola.edu to request an online consultation.
Due to limited resources, appointments take precedence over walk-ins. Appointments run 50 minutes. Although the Loyola Writing Center tutors do not correct papers, they do collaborate in tutorials to assist tutees in becoming strong, capable and independent writers. |
