The Writing Center is staffed by faculty members, graduate students, and undergraduate students. Senior Staffers also serve as faculty in the Writing Department teaching a variety of writing courses. The Senior Staff offers a variety of workshops on writing and the teaching of writing to the Loyola community. Graduate students receive comprehensive training in the theory and practice of peer tutoring at the graduate level. Undergraduate consultants must complete an upper level, three credit course (WR 323) and spend a semester observing in the Writing Center before they begin tutoring. Undergraduate and graduate students as well as faculty, and staff are encouraged to bring work to LWC.
