Brian Benestad lecture to explore Pope Benedict XVI’s views on love and justice

On February 7th, Dr. Brian Benestad of the University of Scranton will give a lecture on themes central to the vision of social life found in the tradition of Catholic social thought.  Dr. Benestad’s lecture is entitled “Love and Justice: Comments on Benedict XVI’s Catholic Social Thought.”  Dr. Benestad is a member of Scranton’s Department of Theology-Religious Studies and an accomplished scholar of the Catholic social tradition.

The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 7th, at 4:30 pm, in the Fourth Floor Programming Room of the Andrew White Student Center.  The lecture is sponsored by the Catholic Social Thought Committee.
