Charm City Film Series continues Nov. 29th with Liberty Heights Liberty Heights is the last of four films in Barry Levinson's "Baltimore series," a cinematic homage to his hometown that includes the films Diner, Tin Men, and Avalon. Set in the mid-1950s, Liberty Heights depicts the struggles of a group of young friends with anti-Semitic, racial, and class predjudices that they encounter in their world. The 1999 film stars Ben Foster, Adrien Brody, and Joe Mantegna. The screening will take place at 9:00pm in the Reading Room of the Andrew White Student Center. |
