Sankofa African Dance Theater to perform Feb. 26 As part of its celebration of Black History Month, the African Student Union and ALANA Services proudly present an evening of African dance performed by the Sankofa African Dance Theater of Baltimore. The Sankofa company has been performing and teaching traditional, authentic African art forms in Baltimore and beyond since its formation in 1989. On February 26th, at 7:00 pm, the company brings its distinctive blend of dance, music and folklore to Loyola College. The concert-performance, which is free and open to the public, will take place in McGuire Hall. |
