Panel discussion considers unemployment in Baltimore Faith and Business, the Catholic Social Thought Committee, Catholic Studies and Year of the City have joined together to host "Baltimore’s Unemployment: Challenges and Successes," the second in a two-part series that began last fall. The event takes place on Saturday, March 24 at 1 p.m. in Knott Hall B03. Panelists will focus on community and church responses to unemployment in Baltimore. The City’s unemployment rate hovered at about 6.6 percent in 2006, compared with 4.6 percent nationally. The panel participants are: - Sr. Mary Anne O’Donnell, Catholic Charities
