Loyola welcomes Baltimore Artists

Ten of Charm City’s most distinguished artists will be on hand for “Celebrating Baltimore Artists: An Exhibit of Mixed Media,” at Loyola College in Maryland on Tuesday, May 1. The event, which takes place from 3 – 5 p.m. in the Hug Lounge and Refectory on the College’s North Charles Street campus, will feature art displays and sales, live music from the Cold Spring Jazz Quartet and light refreshments.

Participating artists include: photo/digital artist Robert McClintock; painter Daniel Van Allen; painter Susan Lowe; mosaic artist Rick Shelley; painter Charlene Rene Clark; watercolor painter Martha Dougherty; painter Maria Cavacos; photographer Sallie Kravetz; photographer Colby Ware; and painter Darla Luke.  The artists will be available for questions about their work, and some items will be for sale.

The event is sponsored by the Loyola College Staff Council, Education for Life and Sodexho.
