SGA INITIUM WEEK 2006

With the Year of the City nearing its official kickoff, the Student Government Association’s annual Initium Week promises to deliver a variety of events aimed at strengthening our relationship with Baltimore.

• September 8: Loyola students will root for the home team at Camden Yards when the Orioles take on the Yankees
• September 9: The SGA will host Community Service Day, allowing members of the College to interact with City residents
• September 10: Following in the Jesuit tradition, Loyola will celebrate its Mass of the Holy Spirit, followed by a street fair with guests from the Baltimore community
• September 12: Movie Night on the Quad; neighbors from the surrounding area will be invited to attend
• September 12: The Year of the City Student Forum will provide the student body with additional information and answering their questions about the initiative
• September 13: The Community Service Fair will offer students plenty of opportunities to become involved in the City
• September 13: Loyola will get a taste of Baltimore during our Crab Feast on the Quad.
