2016-17 Meal Plan Options

Sandwich

All students living on campus are required to participate in a meal plan. We offer by the week plans and by the semester plans, both of which offer a set number of meal swipe options as well as meal plan points. Many of these plans are centered around the idealMEAL. Understanding what the idealMEAL at Loyola is will help you to select a meal plan to fit your needs.

This year, the 9 Meals per Week / 325 Meal Plan Points is the standard meal plan into which all students are enrolled if they do not select a preference.

First-Year & Sophomores

We offer by the week plans and by the semester plans, both of which offer a set number of meal swipe options as well as meal points. This year, the 9 Meals per Week / 325 Meal Plan Points options is the standard meal plan into which all students are enrolled if they do not select a preference. The meal plan prices reflected below are applicable to the 2016-2017 academic year.

Weekly Plans

These meal plans include a designated number of idealMEAL swipes that reset every Saturday night into Sunday morning throughout the semester. Unused meals will be forfeited each week and you may use only one meal per meal zone and up to three meal swipes each day. These plans also have four different meal plan time zones. Meal plan holders are permitted to use one meal swipe in any three of the four meal zones available. Meal Zones are set-up to ensure students have meals throughout the day. Meal Plan Points, a form of on-campus dining currency, are also included. Each point is equivalent to one dollar and can be used to purchase a coffee at Starbucks, items for your dorm room from Iggy's Market, or at on-campus dining locations that do not accept the idealMEAL.

The Meal Zones are:

11:01 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
4:01 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
