Jennifer Nordmark

For Jennifer, Loyola seemed like the perfect fit. She was drawn to the small class sizes and the opportunities to experience many different fields of study. Jennifer earned her bachelor’s degree in writing and political science in 2011. She also holds a “Leading Others” certificate from the Harvard Manage Mentor program. During her time at Loyola, Jennifer was in the Honors Program and enjoyed studying drama and music outside of the classroom. Her love for trying a little bit of everything led her into the animation production business. Jennifer has worked for Blue Sky Studios—the only feature animation studio on the East Coast—located in Greenwich, Conn., for the past seven years. As an associate production manager, she works with production designers and manages the art department. Loyola’s Jesuit values helped inspire Jennifer to start a partnership with Blue Sky Studios and local high schools to mentor students who are interested in the animation field. So far, she has helped facilitate field trips, donated computers for animation labs, and led discussions with students. In the future, she hopes to provide guest lectures to high schools and mentor students through animation projects.
