- Class of 2021
When she first set foot on campus, Aileen knew in her gut that Loyola was the right fit for her. Originally from Scranton, Pa., Aileen attended a Jesuit high school, and so was familiar with Jesuit education. She believes the Jesuit commitment to service aligns strongly with her personal mission to help underserved populations. Aileen came straight to Loyola from Temple University, where she interned at the university counseling center and as a research assistant at a child and adolescent anxiety disorders clinic. Her favorite things about the Psy.D. program at Loyola University Maryland are the dedicated faculty members and the collaborative relationships between professors and students. In the future, she hopes to work at a forensic hospital and in private practice, which would provide her with a unique balance of two very different types of clinical work.

The Loyola network extends all throughout the Baltimore area, which has opened doors for me and allowed me to create relationships with many clinical sites and organizations.
