- Class of 2020
- Majors Economics and Psychology
Andrew, from Cleveland, transferred to Loyola after his freshman year at another institution. He was looking for something more, and after a tour of the Evergreen campus, he felt Loyola was the right fit. He now believes the “something more” he was craving was a sense of community. He has built close relationships with other students, his professors, and administrators, which has made Loyola feel like his second home. Andy is involved on campus as a member of Psi Chi, the international psychology honor society, and as a Greyhound Ambassador who serves on the executive board. His parents were both economics majors in college, which he says influenced his field of study. After taking an introductory psychology course as part of Loyola’s core curriculum, he felt it was his calling to serve others. He decided to add a second major in psychology. Andy aspires to one day become a clinical counselor.

Loyola has prepared me for my career through meaningful interaction with professors who have experience in my field—and through my being exposed to many ways of thinking, which I will use throughout my life.
