  • Class of2022

  • Major, MinorSpeech-Language-Hearing Sciences, Writing

Audrey, a senior majoring in Speech Language-Hearing Sciences and minoring in writing, is an active member of the Loyola community. She serves as an Evergreen, guiding first-year students through their transition to college. She is also a peer tutor through the Study, a member of Health Outreach Baltimore, and she plays for Loyolas club field hockey team. “Being such a busy Hound helped me grow and achieve not only in the classroom, but as a whole person,” says Audrey, who is from Princeton, N.J. During her runs in nearby neighborhoods and Messina trips to places like the Govans Farmers Market, she truly feels like a member of the Baltimore community. Her favorite Loyola tradition is cheering on the lacrosse team during the infamous Battle of Charles Street against Johns Hopkins. “Every Loyola student has their own story... but nearly all make their mark on campus, connect deeply with faculty, and get involved in many different things.” After she completes her degree in May, Audrey will be attending Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, where she will pursue a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. “I hope to one day work in the medical setting with stroke and traumatic brain injury patients. I’m looking forward to this next chapter!”

Loyola taught me that being there for others and a willingness to learn will serve me well beyond classroom walls and campus.
