- Class of2021
When he was considering colleges, Brendan wanted to attend a Catholic university close to where he grew up in Malvern, Pa. Once he visited Loyola and learned more about the Jesuit core values, array of student clubs and programs, and experienced the close community atmosphere, he knew Loyola was the right fit for him. Brendan, who is studying communication with a specialization in digital media, is a member of the Loyola Chimes, Chapel Choir, Gospel Choir, Nintendo Club, and Ukulele Choir. He also serves as an Evergreen student leader. After he graduates, Brendan says he aspires to work in social media management with an interest in video editing, and he believes Loyola’s focus on the whole person is preparing him for career success: “The curriculum core has made me feel better equipped to take on anything the world has to throw at me and to find joy and self-improvement in it,” says Brendan, who works as a social media intern for Loyola’s office of marketing and communications. A member of the Lambda Pi Eta Honors Society, he says he is most proud of the relationships he has created at Loyola, which he believes will last a lifetime. “I feel extremely excited and confident to take all the skills and lessons I have learned throughout my four years here into the working world to make it a better place.”

My favorite part of Loyola is definitely the sense of community. Everyone here truly cares for one another; it’s a community I’m proud to be a part of.
