Brynn is a biology major from Parkville, Md. One of her high school teachers who attended Loyola inspired her to apply and attend the University. She says she enjoys the sense of community on campus, her professors, and the relationships she has created at Loyola, which have allowed her to find her passion for helping animals. Brynn thought she wanted to continue studying to become a cardiothoracic surgeon after she graduates in 2022, but now she is hoping to give a voice to homeless animals and protect them from kill shelters. Brynn is an Evergreen, treasurer of the Black Student Association, and a work study in the biology department. Brynn also enjoys working out at the Fitness & Aquatic Center in her spare time. Her advice to future students is to keep an open mind—you never know where your journey at Loyola might lead.

The sense of community, the faculty, the friends, and the bonds I have made so far are my favorite things about Loyola. We all want to be successful, and it is really inspiring to be around such brilliant minds.
