- Class of 2019
- Major, Minor Writing
Dragan, who grew up in Belgrade, Serbia, enrolled at Loyola University Maryland specifically for its writing program. A commuter student, he is making the most of his experience through extra-curricular programs that allow him to engage with diverse members of the community while developing his craft and helping others improve their own writing. He is a passionate member of Loyola's Rhetoric Society, which aims to facilitate civil discourse and the free exchange of ideas on campus. As a tutor at the Writing Center, Dragan mentors Baltimore high school students through the Bridges service-learning program. He has gained further experience working with the University's office of marketing and communications department as a Web communication assistant. His favorite thing at Loyola? "Apart from the superb quality of education, the architecture on campus. Architecture and how we use space is important because it speaks not only to our senses, but to our very bodies. I am grateful to be taught and to be able to study on such a beautiful campus. It lifts up the soul."
