- programProfessional's MBA
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Lebanon Valley College, Garth Stefan knew he wanted to continue his business education and eventually strive for a leadership position at T. Rowe Price, where he currently works as a senior financial services associate. Garth applied to Loyola's PMBA program because he found the small classes, reputation, and in-person lessons and networking opportunities hard to match, and he could work full-time while perusing the degree. "Karyl Leggio, Ph.D., professor of finance, has been a tremendous teacher, providing students with the opportunity to apply lessons from class to each student's individual company and job. Dr. Leggio further focused her teachings on connecting lessons learned in class to real world current events." After he graduates in May, he hopes to transition to a supervisory role at T. Rowe, with plans to study for the CRPC and CFP this year and next. "My favorite memory from my time at Loyola was being selected to participate in the Loyola Mentoring Program, which provided me the opportunity to develop a sustainable relationship with a Loyola graduate, Matthew Barnard, who works for Deutsche Bank. Additionally, I had the opportunity to visit Matthew in his New York City office," Garth shared. The Maryland native credits Loyola with preparing him to be a strategic and ethical leader in his field.
