  • ProgramM.Ed. in Educational Leadership

Heather, who first began her teaching career in Baltimore County in 2009, took advantage of opportunities working in school districts all over the country before finding her way to her current position as a kindergarten teacher in the Mays Chapel area. Her interactions and work with inspiring school leaders drew her to the Educational Leadership track within the School of Education. Heather says she first considered Loyola for its positive reputation among students and, after researching the Educational Leadership program further, she realized it was the perfect program to give her the knowledge and academic skills necessary to become a great leader in education. What she likes best about the program are the faculty, who make it clear that they want to see every student succeed on their chosen career path.

See all Students

At the first information session that I attended before entering my cohort, I was impressed and pleased with the amount of time and energy the staff at Loyola put in to answering my questions and investing in my plan.
