  • Class of2020

  • Major, MinorCommunication, Marketing

A senior from Ridgewood, N.J., Isabelle is a communication major (her specialization is in advertising and public relations) with a minor in marketing. She says she enjoys the flexibility of her major, which gives her the freedom to work at a variety of different positions once she graduates in 2020. “There is a unique opportunity at Loyola to be engaged and learn in areas of study vastly different from your major,” says Isabelle, who aspires to work at a firm developing marketing and social media campaigns. Her favorite thing about Loyola is the Career Center because of the resources and dedication of the staff and administrators who have helped her grow professionally and emotionally. This year she is working as a creative assistant, a role which entails maintaining social media accounts for the Career Center. She also holds several leadership positions on campus, including serving as president of Lambda Pi Eta, president of Best Buddies, president of Student Council for Exceptional Children, vice president of the Public Relations Student Society of America. Isabelle is a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, the national Jesuit honor society, and an intern for the office of marketing and communications. Isabelle says her courses, including the service-learning opportunities and extra-curricular activities she has participated in, have all worked together in preparing her for the real world—and wherever her path takes her after she graduates from Loyola in the spring.
