- Class of 2018
- Program Emerging Leaders MBA
Cincinnati native Lauren Boulding always knew she wanted to work in the health care industry. After receiving her bachelor of science in Health Services Administration with minors in Business and Political Science from Ohio University, she interned at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. During that time, she recognized her desire for advanced education; she decided to pursue an MBA because of its versatility. “I chose Loyola University Maryland because of the outstanding curriculum and additional experimental learning that the ELMBA provides," says Lauren, now a student in the Emerging Leaders MBA program. "The Jesuit business education inspires me because I know that it is well-rounded, and as I go through this program, I know that I will be able to develop my full self, not just my academic self.” As proof of that idea, Lauren serves as a graduate residence coordinator for the office of student life at Loyola. After graduating, she hopes to work in health care leadership, as well as start a charity or shelter for homeless veterans. “Loyola’s network is extensive,” she says. “I have already taken advantage by setting up informational interviews with many professionals at the companies that I am interested in."
