- Program Emerging Leaders MBA
Cincinnati native Lauren Boulding always knew she wanted to work in the health care industry. After receiving her bachelor of science in Health Services Administration with minors in Business and Political Science from Ohio University, she interned at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. During that time, she recognized her desire for advanced education; she decided to pursue an MBA because of its versatility. “I chose Loyola University Maryland because of the outstanding curriculum and additional experimental learning that the ELMBA provides," says Lauren, a student in the Emerging Leaders MBA program. During her time at Loyola, Lauren has served as a graduate residence coordinator for the office of student life. Her next step is to begin work with the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center in Baltimore, where she will be focusing on performance improvement for the hospital. Lauren hopes to continue to develop a career in health care leadership; eventually, she would like to found a charity or shelter that serves and supports United States veterans experiencing homelessness.

Loyola's Jesuit business education inspires me because I know that it is well-rounded, and as I go through this program, I know that I will be able to develop my full self, not just my academic self.
