- Class of 2019
- Major, Minors Communication, Spanish and Latin American & Latino Studies
Molly is a communication major specializing in digital media and journalism, with minors in Spanish and Latin American & Latino Studies. Originally from Lewisville, Texas, she plays volleyball for the Greyhounds—and says her proudest moment at Loyola has been the building success of her team, including making it to the Patriot League Championships in 2018 and placing third in the league. The relationships Molly has made with her professors and the resources available to her here have set her up for success, both during her time at Loyola and for the future. “My professors genuinely care about each student’s professional growth,” says Molly, who is also a member of Lambda Pi Eta, the communication studies honor society of the National Communication Association, and serves as an editor for The Greyhound, Loyola’s student newspaper. “The opportunities I've had through Loyola's Career Center have prepared me for what it means to network and interview,” she says—skills that have already proven valuable as she prepares for life after graduation. Molly plans to launch her career in graphic design in the Baltimore area after graduation.
