“The opportunities and resources at Loyola are endless,” says Sarah, who is majoring in marketing and minoring in both communication and information systems. “They have allowed me to ‘squeeze the sponge,’ as Fr. Linnane says, and get the most out of my college experience.” Sarah is a Sellinger Scholar and the marketing director for the OPTIONS programming board. She serves the Loyola and Baltimore communities as an Evergreen and as a volunteer during York Road Community Days and Presence for Christmas. She also works as a desk assistant in the residence halls. Her proudest moment at Loyola has been receiving the Cura Personalis Award at the 2018 Gratias Ceremony. Her Loyola education has strengthened her skills as a leader and prepared her for her future as a creative director and in an advertising and marketing agency. Sarah's advice to other students? “Get involved, develop meaningful relationships, and go beyond your comfort zone.”
