Stephon has come to appreciate the benefits of discernment and the core values of a Loyola education. His advice to incoming students at Loyola is to get involved and “overexpose” themselves to all Loyola offers: “I love the value of community that Loyola fosters, as well as the freedom to participate in it. In high school, I only had one group of friends, football and track friends. At Loyola, I have genuine friendships from so many groups like Gospel Choir, Sellinger Scholars, Evergreens, and much more.” After graduation, Stephon will begin his career as a financial analyst for Morgan Stanley in Baltimore. His goal is to eventually work with the Institute of Sustainable Investing, an initiative at Morgan Stanley that creates scalable sustainable and impact-investing solutions that deliver competitive financial returns while driving positive environmental, social, and governance (ESG) outcomes. Stephon looks forward to staying connected with the University in his future role as a young alumnus trustee on Loyola’s Board of Trustees.

I am excited about the sustainability movement happening at Loyola. Soon every student will have the ability to help Loyola offset carbon emissions in our atmosphere.
