- ProgramMaster of Accounting
A current student in the Master of Accounting program, Tyler earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Baltimore. He has interned with the Department of Defense, worked for a mid-size accounting firm known as Cohen & Company, and recently interned with Ernst & Young, where he has already been offered and accepted a full-time position, which he’ll begin in 2020 after he receives his degree from Loyola. “What made me choose Loyola and the Sellinger School of Business for my graduate degree was the professional network: the alumni and the companies throughout the United States,” says Tyler. He also appreciates how the Jesuit values instilled throughout the curriculum in Loyola’s MAcc program enable students to think outside the box while learning how to communicate more effectively in the accounting field. Tyler, who grew up in Owings Mills, Md., will continue to work in public accounting after graduation and focus on his passion for community service. He aspires to start a non-profit in the Baltimore area that helps young professionals achieve success.

I was attracted to Loyola’s MAcc program because its curriculum allows students adequate time to study for the CPA exam—while still providing rigorous, high-quality coursework.
