Spring 2021 - Labor and Employment

The office of human resources has been working to promote a safe and healthy workplace for all faculty, staff, and administrators. Employees have been provided with Return to Campus Guidelines and mandatory Return to Campus training. During the pandemic, some staff and administrators will continue remote work as appropriate, so that employees who need to have an on-site presence to serve students and colleagues can be on campus and maintain physical distance. These temporary arrangements, which should be approved by the immediate supervisor, can be done on a full or partial day/week schedule.


University-sponsored travel for employees is canceled and postponed until further notice. Employees should avoid unnecessary personal travel domestically and internationally. Proposals for future travel must be approved by the respective vice president, provost, or president. More information is available in the Return to Campus Guidelines.
