Jan. 8, 2021 - Students: COVID-19 Policy Updates

Dear Students,

We are very excited to begin this semester and welcome many of you back to campus. This email is to provide an update regarding COVID-19 policies. The COVID-19 policies for undergraduate and graduate students can be found on the Coronavirus Update website.

We have updated the policies as Baltimore City law has changed and we have put the finishing touches on our reopening plan. Additionally, based on feedback and questions we have received about the policies, we created a comprehensive Frequently Asked Questions webpage to further explain the intent and extent of the COVID-19 policies, including suggestions for safe and healthy ways to engage this semester and an outline of what will happen if policies are violated.

Further, as a reminder, beginning with student move-in through the end of the day on Jan. 20, Loyola will be operating under the Campus Arrival Restriction Period (CARP) Guidelines. CARP guidelines will supersede any conflicting provisions in the COVID-19 policies until the CARP is lifted.

The University takes the health and safety of our campus and surrounding community very seriously. We believe if all community members make choices in line with Healthy Hound guidelines and abide by COVID-19 policies, we will have a safe, healthy, and successful semester. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Office of Student Conduct
