Dear Students,
You will be receiving several communications in the upcoming weeks detailing more of the requirements needed prior to arriving on campus for the Spring semester. These requirements are outlined for you in both the Health & Safety component of Loyola’s Reopening Plan and were shared in the virtual Town Halls that were held prior to Thanksgiving Break.
Healthy Hounds Student Training
We are writing today to specifically discuss the Student Training requirement that all students must review online. The new Healthy Hounds Student Training can be accessed through LinkedIn Learning. To complete the training, follow these steps:
- Follow the prompts to set up an account with LinkedIn using your Loyola email information.
- Click on the video (roughly 35 minutes long) and watch in its entirety.
- Complete an acknowledgment form attesting to the fact that you completed the training which will also be on the LinkedIn Learning site.
Student Health Services will have a dashboard to sign off on students who have completed these two steps and will update this in our records. There is no need to submit the attestation form to our office or let us know that you have completed it.
We also realize that several students may have already completed an earlier training for the Fall semester. Please note, this is a new training, and all students will be required to complete this one for the spring semester. This training needs to be completed no later than Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021.
If you have any specific concerns or questions about this process, please write to Marlena Waugh, assistant director for Student Health Services, at mwaugh@loyola.edu.
We wish you all the best as you wrap up the remaining weeks of the Fall semester!
