Vivian Brocard, President
As president of Isaacson, Miller, Vivian takes on a limited number of search assignments. She has over 30 years of executive search experience and joined IM in 2003 following a career in executive search in business and technology. She joined IM’s executive committee in 2010 and assumed the role of president in 2016. Over her tenure at IM, she has built a highly regarded national practice focused on leadership roles in higher education, healthcare, and research. She has led president, provost, and dean searches across a range of institutions, including American University, Brown University, College of the Holy Cross, Creighton University, Harvard University, Lehigh University, Loyola University Chicago, Michigan State University, Northeastern University, Rochester Institute of Technology, University of Chicago, University of Dayton, University of Illinois at UrbanaChampaign, University of Miami, University of Pennsylvania, and University of Vermont. She holds a B.A. from Simmons College.
Phillip Petree, Managing Associate
Phillip joined Isaacson, Miller in 2006 and has served primarily higher education and human services clients in searches for a range of leadership functions. Representative clients include Babson College (Provost), EARTH University in Costa Rica (President and Executive Director of the Foundation), The Institute for Advanced Catholic Studies (President), John Carroll University (Provost), Naropa University (President and Provost), University of Chicago (Deans of Divinity School and School of Social Service Administration), and World Learning (President and CEO). Prior to his career in executive search, Phillip spent a number of years as a teacher and Director of Development in an independent secondary school run by the Religious of the Sacred Heart. He has been active in his community, serving on a strategic planning committee at Boston College’s School of Theology and Ministry and chairing the board of a school for indigent youth in Honduras. Phillip earned a B.A. and B.S. from the University of Tennessee and an MA from Boston College.
Jenna Satta-Kwiatek, Associate
Prior to joining Isaacson, Miller as an Associate, Jenna worked for eight years in student affairs at Boston College, developing extensive experience in staff supervision, staff selection and recruitment, crisis intervention, conduct management, and program development. She uses her own Jesuit, Catholic education, experience, and knowledge to inform her work. This is Jenna's fourth presidential search and third Jesuit presidential search. Jenna earned her B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross, and her M.A. and MBA from Boston College.
