Apprentice House

Apprentice House is the nation’s first and only book publishing house entirely run by students. Students at Loyola University Maryland are responsible for every aspect of the publishing process, from acquisitions, to editing, to design and publication of every book As a program within the communication department, Apprentice House is driven by student work conducted in three courses: Introduction to Book Publishing, Book Design and Production, and Book Marketing and Promotion. Those classes are supplemented through the activities of members of the Apprentice House Book Publishing club.
