Loyola University Maryland

Advising in Psychology

Students who major in Psychology benefit from close relationships with caring faculty. Each student in Psychology is assigned one Faculty Academic Advisor with whom they are encouraged to meet throughout their undergraduate career. For example, students might connect with their Faculty Academic Advisors to discuss different career pathways in psychology, how to plan for graduate school, or how to maximize their experience as a major. All Psychology Majors also meet with Mr. Patrick LoPresto, our Director of Psychology Major Student Development, during registration. Mr. LoPresto is our Department's point-person for course registration and provides exceptional support for our majors as they navigate our curriculum.
