Jessica Silva, M.A., CCC-SLP

Jessica obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Loyola College in 2007; she continued her education, earning a Master of Arts degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences from the University of Maryland in 2009. After receiving her Masters degree she began working for Baltimore City Public Schools as a Speech-Language Pathologist.   

During the past three years, Jessica has been the Lead Speech-Language Pathologist on the Prevention and Intervention for Early Learners (PIEL) Team. The PIEL Team is a Baltimore City Public Schools initiative which focuses on improving student outcomes through collaboration, consultation, prevention and early intervention. Jessica and her teammates have presented at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Schools conference (July 2014), the National Association of School Psychologist (NASP) conference (February 2015) and the Maryland Speech-Language-Hearing Association (MSHA) conference (May 2016).
