Assistant Clinical Faculty Thomas Thompson has been awarded the Alicia Cignatta Spirit of Independence Award of the Brain Injury Association of Maryland, given to practitioners in the community who provide support to individuals with brain injuries. Tom started the ABI program over 10 years ago and continues to advocate for these individuals, their families and caregivers, and trains students to continue this work!
