About Professor Goode

Bilingual speech-language pathologist; fluent in Spanish. I am currently working on doctoral degree in special education at the University of Maryland, College Park. My dissertation will explore which cultural factors are considered when teachers refer English Language Learners for special education services in the school system.

Achievements (past 5 years)

Book Chapter- Lavine, R., & Goode, C.G., (2013). Language impairments and Spanish. In Lacorte, M. (Eds), Routledge Handbook of Hispanic Applied Linguistics.

Started working supervising graduate students in the Speech and Hearing Clinic in Belvedere Square part-time in January 2013.

Fall 2014 became full-time affiliate instructor/faculty.
