How do I create an account on Typhon?

Administration at Loyola issues accounts on Typhon. Please note that if you have a current Typhon account at another university, you will need another one specific to Loyola. Loyola's website for Typhon is www.typhongroup.net/loyola. At the beginning of each semester, you student will be asked to fill out an Externship Contract with you. Once this form has been filled out and turned in to our Director Program Operations, Ms. Emilie Aguilar, she will then create your account and send you your temporarily login and password. If you have any problems creating your account or resetting a password, please contact Emilie.

How do I approve clock hours in Typhon?

Instructions for approving clock hours can be found in the Help Section of Typhon. If your student's name is not showing up or if you run into any other problems, please contact Ms. Emilie Aguilar

How do I find the externship grading form in Typhon?

The externship grading form is housed on Typhon. Go to 'Evaluations' and be sure to select the EXTERNSHIP KASA form. If you run into any problems, please contact Ms. Emilie Aguilar

Where do I find the stipend form?

The stipend form can be found here. Please fill out either the top portion (individual payee) or the bottom portion (organizational payee) depending on where the stipend check should be sent. This form can be filled out at any point during the semester and sent to Ms. Emilie Aguilar. Please note that stipend forms for the Spring semester must be submitted by the end of April (due to our budget cycle).

I haven't received my stipend yet, what should I do?

Stipend checks are processed throughout the semester, but mistakes do happen. If you haven't received your payment in a timely fashion, please contact Ms. Emilie Aguilar to check on the status. We want to make sure that you receive this stipend as a thank you for your work with our student, so do not hesitate to reach out with any questions!
